Meet Roberta

Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

My Coaching Style___

As a kind, intuitive, honest and non-judgmental person, I’m devoted to my clients. I hold them accountable by being supportive and goal-oriented so they can achieve their overall improved health. I actively listen and ask key questions so I can reflect on their answers and tailor a plan respecting their bio-individuality. After all, we are individuals with different needs and desires.

In our sessions we will go beyond food. We will talk about relationships, career, social life, spirituality (whatever that means to you), home cooking, self-esteem and physical activities. I will carefully listen to our conversations and customize a holistic plan where clients will experience more balance in their circle of life.

A Little Bit More About Me___

My Training

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where I learned over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayuverda, Gluten Free, Paleo, Mediterranean, Raw, Vegan, Macrobiotics and everything in between. I've studied with the world's leading health and wellness experts, including: Joshua Rosenthal (Founder of IIN), Deepak Chopra, MD., Vani Hari, and many others.

Prior to becoming an Integrative Nutrition Health coach and founder of Rebirth Holistic Coaching, LLC, I earned my BA in Marketing from Brazil.  Even though I worked for almost a decade in the marketing field I never felt that was my calling. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL where I was born and raised, I came to the USA in 2009 and today, Sarasota, Florida, is my hometown. I’m 52 years old and have two amazing kids.  I have a daughter who is 23 and a son who is 11.  In addition to my career I love jogging, working out, yoga, movies, wine, cooking and spending time with my family.

My A.H.A Moment___

Awareness. Healing. Acceptance

It was in 2011 that I was blessed with a gift from God, my special needs son. When he was only 18 months, he received his Autism Diagnosis. At first, I lost my sense of direction, yet, never my hope. I followed all the physician's recommendations and immediately enrolled him in all interventions I could think of. Our lives were based on therapeutic offices all day long. At that time, I had the false mindset that if I rushed into treatments, I would be able to control the situation. Early interventions are crucial but so is love and lifestyle. I wasn't living in the moment. Time was passing by and the more I learned about the long journey, the more I became overwhelmed with time. It took me years to understand that health is about a journey not a destination. I finally realized my son was THE inspiration and my daughter, my support system I needed towards my rebirth.

My A.H.A moment happened when I heard from a psychologist my son would never be independent. At this point he was 7 years old. I cried for hours, days and months until I felt a strong sense of direction and determination. I could finally dig deep into myself and my best version was revealed. I've become healthier, and happier. A stronger human being who faces challenges with courage. I've become more self-compassionate and grateful through acceptance.

The processes of Awareness, Healing and Acceptance led me to a better and happier life; it also increased the desire to add new knowledge to my professional training and to become a Holistic Health Coach.
